Office Hours and Appointments

Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:45 pm
Saturday morning hours starting at 9:00 AM (sick only)
Sunday morning hours starting at 10:00 AM (sick only)

Please note that for much of the year, we are only in the office one weekend day.

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

All visits are by appointment only.

With the exception of newborn care, please call at least three to four weeks in advance for routine checkups and school/camp physicals. Routine physicals are scheduled only on weekdays.

Time is available for sick visits each day. Please call early in the day if you feel that your child needs to be seen.  Our office is open on weekends for sick visits only; please call at 9:00 am on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday for an appointment that day.

Our office telephones are answered 24 hours a day. During regular office hours, our staff nurses will be able to answer most of your questions. If the nurse is unable to help you, she will consult a physician and either get back to you or have the physician speak with you directly during a break between patients. You may always speak with a physician if you desire, although you may have to leave a message with the physician if he/she is seeing patients at the time of your call.

A physician from our group is on call after hours for emergencies. Please call the main office number to have the answering service page the on-call physician. We do not cross-cover with any other physicians.

Influenza vaccines will be given yearly in the fall. They are recommended for all children. Vaccines are given according to the recommended schedule provided by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Physical exams after five years of age are done yearly with urinalysis and occasional hemoglobins. Hearing and vision tests are done as needed. Tuberculosis tests are done as needed. Please note: We are using the “Universal Child Health Form” used by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Almost all schools and camps now accept this form, and we fill out this form at no charge to you. There will be a $5.00 charge for filling out any additional forms; please contact our office for more information. Additional information about extra office charges may be viewed here as well. Children with special needs (e.g. premature infants) may be seen on a more frequent basis during the first year.
